Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.Psalms 127:3-5 ESV

TURKEY DAY/WEEKEND

playing in the fresh laundry

either saying hello or guarding his highchair

Not happy that we were busy setting up and not playing
I hosted my first Thanksgiving this year and had 10 members of the family over for a feast!  Everyone helped which made the day enjoyable!  I cooked a 20lb turkey- which came out great!  We had our niece Natalie stay over for a slumber party and she was a very good guest.  We are not accustomed to babies who sleep and eat when they are supposed to at our house!  ;-)  Jon got to feel old as we attended his 10 year high school reunion!  It was nice to meet his friends and to see him catch up with people he had not seen in a decade!
